What an incredibly relaxing and refreshing weekend! Thank you for sharing your life with us all. It was great being back with you
and Aaron again and having the time to talk and catch up with one another.

Please know how much I treasured our time together. and that if you ever are in need of prayer or just a friend to listen, I am right
here waiting. It is truly an honor to call you my friend and sister in Christ. You have touched my life in so many ways.
With love and a heart of gratitude,
Nancy

Dear Leslie,
Here it is almost the end of May and the weekend spent at Calloway Gardens with you seem only like yesterday.  The memory and the time we spent with you is still so very real to me.  God has truly used you to impact others in a very special way.  I have thought of you in so many ways since the retreat in April.  Just the other day I was returning from the beach with a childhood friend and was behind a logging truck and I gave thanks to God for the reminder of you and for the blessing you have brought to so many, but also the pain I felt in my heart for the agony of all the battles and the suffering that has brought you to the place you are now.  God truly walks with us every step of the way even in our darkest of times.  Your message is powerful and I loved your book.  Thank you for the experience of getting to know you and for the impact you have had on my life.

Thank you so much for sharing your life with us yesterday.  You are a true inspiration!  The response you received from our congregation really amazed me and I've never seen such reaction before.  You had us laughing, crying, and standing to our feet giving ovations.  That is rare.  Needless to say, everyone was inspired.

Let me tell you I have heard so many favorable things about the service yesterday.  Throughout the day and evening.  I know God used you to touch hearts and met some needs.   You are on my prayer journal – that God will continue to empower you and use you to speak His Words to hearts in need.  Col 1:9 - 11  For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
We will be watching your schedule – John and I will plan to drive over and hear you if you are near our area.  With His love,
Martha Chandler

Leslie! Oh my goodness can I just say you made me realize alot! I am a member of Ridgeland Hights Baptist Church and was there yestersday when you spoke. You made me realize how selfish and inconciderate I could be. I deffinitely admire you for being courageous and not letting your disability slow you down and keep you from living your life and especially living it as a christian. Many people in situations like that want to blame God and retract from him. I cried throughout your whole testimony. It helped me alot and and gave me some confidence. I also bought the book and I am already half way through!  I just wanted to let you know how much I apprectiate you comming to speak at my church and how much I admire you. You are truly a woman of God... deffinitely someone I look up to!

I awoke this morning and thought back to last weekend.  It was a truly blessed time that we spent together, worshipping, praising and sharing our hearts. Thank you for giving so much of yourself.  I told our pastor everything I could remember and he was almost as excited as I was having been there! The ladies are still talking about it.

 I wish to convey to you the privilege and blessing it is to have Leslie Ostrander as a part of our church family.  Leslie and her family have been worshiping and serving here for several years now and they have proven to be vital in the life of our church.

Leslie has been used by God to greatly minister to our congregation on many levels.  First, her testimony of how Christ has used the adversity in her life to draw her close to Him and to direct her to a purposeful life that is full of love for the Savior and for others regardless of abilities and inabilities.  Second, Leslie ministers to all of us by just the joy of her presence.  It does not take very long at all when talking with her to understand the peace and contentment that she possesses because of the Spirit of God that leads and controls her.

In closing let me just say on a personal level that I am certainly encouraged every time that I hear her speak or teach, but also just in passing and casual conversation I am always lifted by Leslie.  This church and I are truly blessed to be a part of Leslie’s life and ministry.

I just wanted to let you know how inspirational you were to me.  You are a beautiful person on the inside and out.  God has only begun using you in his ministry.  I believe that you and David will bring such a strong message of hope together.  There aren't two people anywhere else in the world more capable of doing so.  Not only are both of you inspirational, talented, and most importantly in love with Christ, but you are both very comical and very easy to listen to.  With all of those qualities you will have people listen to you who might not necessarily like listening to speakers and most certainly speakers of the WORD.

Leslie is a wonderful motivational speaker; if there's one soul out there that she cannot move, that person must be made of stone. She has a great story to tell about her own life, which she freely shares in motivational speeches and her book. But she is also a very dedicated freelance writer who is dead serious about getting the story right and telling it in a moving way. My life is all the better for having known her!

Leslie is personable, has high integrity, and she is creative!  I recently had the opportunity to hear Leslie speak about her experiences and her book, In His Hands. Her testimony is wonderful, and she has a natural ability to convey difficult circumstances to her audience. I have also worked with Leslie and her husband in the real estate field, they both have a professional work ethic and demonstrate a strong desire to get the best results for their clients.
